Pathmark

Pathmark, a supermarket chain that was a mainstay in metropolitan New York, closed in 2015 following the bankruptcy of its parent company, The Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company. However, the Pathmark brand is being rekindled by grocery retail cooperative Allegiance Retail Services LLC, which purchased the intellectual property of the Pathmark name and plans to open a new Pathmark store in central Brooklyn, New York.
